Login and Security

Security

The Starbucks Online My Partner Info portal allows partners to view their own personal information.  With this ability comes the responsibility for maintaining the security and privacy of your own personal information. You are responsible for protecting your data by logging out of your session prior to walking away from your desk and otherwise keeping your login password secure. As an additional safeguard, your session will log out automatically after 3 minutes of inactivity. The initial password expires after 30 days from the creation date.  Users will need to contact the Enterprise Help Desk to reset their initial passwords after expiration.

 

            SSL

To protect your personal data, this site runs under Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) with 128-bit strong encryption. This is similar to the encryption used to secure online transactions on many e-commerce and financial web sites.

 

            What if I have trouble logging in?

If you are having trouble logging in please try the “Forgot your password” option. If that does not work please call the Partner Contact Center at (888) SBUX-411 (7289-411) for assistance.

 

What do I do if my account is locked?

If you have attempted to log in three or more times unsuccessfully your account will be locked. To unlock your account click on the “Forgot your password” link to reset your password.  If you continue to experience issues please call the Partner Contact Center at (888) SBUX-411 (7289-411).

 

How do I make sure I'm logged out?

You must click on the Logout link in the upper right-hand side of the screen to ensure that you are fully logged out of the system.  After 3 minutes of inactivity you will automatically be logged out.

 

Password Reset

What do I do if I do not yet have a password, or if I've forgotten it?

You must supply three pieces of information for validation:

o         Your Partner Number.

o         Your date of birth on record. 

o         The last four digits of your Social Security Number/Social Insurance Number.

Once this information has been validated, you will be prompted to enter a new password. See the change password section for information on picking a new password.

 

Change Password

            How do I pick a new password?

New passwords must meet the following criteria:

o    Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length

o    Passwords must contain one number

o    Passwords must contain one upper case letter

o    Passwords must contain one special character (!\"@$%&/()=?'`*+~#-_.,;:{[]}\\<> ")

o    Passwords may not be changed to any of the user’s last five passwords

o    Must not contain any spaces.

o    Passwords should only be reused after one year of non-use.

o    Passwords should not contain any part of the user name.

o    First character of the password may not be ! or ?

o    First 3 characters of the password may not appear in the same sequence in the user ID

o    First 3 characters of the password may not be identical

o    Space character not allowed within first 3 characters of the password .

o    Passwords must not contain Starbucks related terms e.g., Coffee, Java, Starbuck, etc.

o    Must not include common words describing coffee, coffee blends, colors, fruits, countries or sports teams. Examples of passwords that will not be accepted: Coffee11, yellow23, 12lake34.

o    Must not include words for days of the week, months of the year, city names. Examples of passwords that will not be accepted: February1!, 3newyork$, Mondays9&.

o         If you must print private & confidential material, remember to pick it up immediately at the printer.

o         Don't save private & confidential material on your network drive.

o         If you leave your desk be sure and secure your information by locking your PC
